Florida Winter

Your Florida winter is here,
and all your FLORIDA residents are thinking THEY are WHERE
Thinking they in Green Bay, Minnesota or Canada but the why is not clear.

Walk Into A Florida supermarket and here is what you see,
People thinking it is so cold they are ready to head further south to flee

But What are you thinking it's 65,
You and your ear muffs act like you're freezing alive,

It's 65 so what’s up with that shiver
Those 90 pounds of clothes are making me quiver.
The ground beneath you freezes while Cry me a river.

OHHHH, I don't thinks its only 65
Come on you can make it and survive

But what about that down jacket and heavy winter gloves,
You act like it is minus 25,
But what... just look at the overhead doves.

Then there are those that import hand warmers from up north
but what are they thinking it fells like July the Fourth

And you say that I am not accounting for the wind chill factor
What measured that, a protractor

With your artic ski jacket it looks like snow
But what, I don't think so.

Me I am warm lets go swimming in a lake,
Any shiver from me is obviously fake.

I wear shorts and a short sleeve T-Shirt which for me is a must,
And everyone in the store looks at me like I am nuts.

But come on it's only 65,
And for me, I think that I'm burning alive.
But I will make it, I will survive,
I just CAN'T wait till the weather is nice and comfy at 35.

But at that point forget it, the Florida locals are way past cold,
We are heading south this weather is getting old.

But wait it is only 35 for one minute of one day of one year,
These people are crazy, but me I have no fear.

It will warm up after our one Florida day of winter and get back to normal,
be back to 95 so everyone can dress less formal.

So if you're visiting from up north be warned of this,
The locals freezing cold winter that they want to miss,
You my friend will think it's JUST shear warm bliss.

So come back to the land of the hanging chads,
freezing dads,
dieing fads,
winter heating pads,
with the brother of the President failing lads.
